The Nexus Doc

We provide expert Independent Medical Opinion (IMO) that establishes a “nexus”, or a connection, between the medical condition and military service of a veteran.

This IMO, more commonly known as “Nexus Letter”, plays a pivotal role to address how events or exposures during the service either started or worsened the condition. This significantly bolsters the veteran’s claims and increases their chances of getting a disability rating.

Independent Medical Opinion Packages

All of our services start with a free record review during the intake process. During that review we will determine if we are accepting your case before you are charged for any work. If we accept your case, we provide a detailed nexus letter in which we try to condense all the pertinent information that VA is looking for.

The exact cost of service depends on the depth of past medical records. If there are a significant number of records to summarize, the fee will reflect that. We are transparent about the total cost before you signup for the full evaluation. Generally, we divide the packages into the following categories:

  • Up to 2 conditions: $1000.

  • 3 to 4 conditions: $1500.

  • 5 or more conditions: $2000.

All the packages will include:

  • Video Evaluation.

  • Followup questions you may have after the evaluation.

  • Disability Benefits Questionnaire.

  • Independent Medical Opinion (Nexus Letter)

  • In case of claim denial from VA, we will provide a free rebuttal medical opinion if warranted after reviewing the decision letter.

The above stated prices reflect the effort and time that we dedicate to each evaluation to ensure it is as strong as it can be. Each nexus letter uses VA-preferred language, cites supporting medical research, confirms full review of medical records, and concise yet well-documented.
